Work was completed in June on an exciting new dining and cocktail venue in Liverpool. The Vincent Cafe & Cocktail Bar, owned by football legend Steven Gerrard, brings a fresh and contemporary vibe to the city centre.
Seating up to 190 and covering a space of 6,000 square feet, the restaurant serves British and international cuisine and is located in Exchange Flags, a Grade II listed building. As decorators who take sustainability seriously, we endeavoured to ensure the internal decoration was sympathetically and carefully undertaken to respect the origins of the building, yet we updated it to reflect the trend of contemporary city dining. The chosen colour scheme and materials, incorporating white walls, wooden flooring, chrome pillars and industrial-style ceilings, offer a distinctively airy finish and modern vibe. Using high-level painting and spraying, the end result has proved fresh, clean and stylish, ensuring the venue is set to become a top choice for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner or for cocktails.
It was crucial that, as a restaurant, the Vincent had a painted finish that looked stylish but also provided optimum fire protection. As we are accredited in health and safety and specialists in fire protection treatment, we applied an intermiscent flame-retardant paint internally so that walls and structures could be safeguarded as much as possible in the event of a fire. It is small yet significant details such as these that demand huge consideration when undertaking a decoration or refurbishment project for an establishment such as the Vincent Cafe & Cocktail Bar.
